Closeboard fencing

A new closeboard fence along a cottage drive

A new closeboard fence we put up along a gravel drive beside a brick cottage, posted on our Facebook page in September 2026. The photos run from the new posts going in, through the rails, to the finished fence with its gravel board. Closeboard gives a solid, private boundary and suits a run along a drive or a garden edge.

How did the fence go up?

The posts went in first along the line of the drive, then the rails were fixed between them, and the boards went on last over a gravel board at the foot.

Closeboard fencing is quoted after a visit, so we can measure the run and check what is in the ground.
